Things I love, in no particular order:
Kacey Musgraves, the genre-bending country superstar. And yes, that is a picture of her and me at her concert. It is a prized possession.
Alone time. I’m an introvert at heart, but the charismatic kind who loves to make people laugh as much I love reading on rainy days.
Puzzles, riddles, and games. I’m a game-maker, board game collector, and escape room enthusiast. Give me a mental challenge any day.
Cooking, especially with tons of garlic. With a professional chef as a dad and Italian blood in my veins, I make the kitchen my happy place.
Reality competition shows. Survivor, Drag Race, The Traitors, you name it, I’m obsessing over it. May the best player win.
Painting my nails. While the various colors I apply don’t reflect my mood, they do make my queerness obvious, which is a big plus.
Puns. I was called a corny dad in junior high. I love to play with words and language – to varied results (and the groans of my friends).
Pop culture. I started reading Entertainment Weekly in middle school and my passion for cultural commentary (and critique) was born.
Improv, specifically the “Yes, And” way of thinking. Taking classes changed my life and has improved who I am as a person and a pro.
